Sheffield & District Battalion The Boys Brigade
Boys Brigade is one of the biggest non-denominational youth groups in the UK providing structured activities for boys and girls aged 5 to 18.
There's something for every young person whether it’s camping or kayaking, first aid or five a side. Members develop skills, build confidence, make friends, take responsibility and are encouraged to make a real difference in their communities – sharing the values that make us who we are.

Sheffield Battalion has existed since 1889, starting with just 3 leaders and 73 young people. The Battalion now has over 300 young people supported by 100 leaders. The Battalion is made up of all the companies in Sheffield, Rotherham, North Derbyshire and North Nottingham area.
Greenmoor is a residential centre for training and outdoor pursuits situated on the borders of Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsly with access to the Peak District National Park.
